iPhone 18 Pro is already creating buzz in the tech world ahead of its official launch, as multiple leaks hint at major upgrades in performance, camera, and overall user experience. Apple is expected to introduce a new A20 Pro chipset in its upcoming flagship, which could deliver around 15 percent faster performance along with better power efficiency, making the device more capable for heavy tasks and AI-driven features.
According to reports, the iPhone 18 Pro may feature a 6.3-inch OLED display with ProMotion technology and a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smoother visuals and improved responsiveness. Brightness levels could go up to 3000 nits, significantly enhancing outdoor visibility. The device is also expected to come with 12GB of RAM, which will support advanced AI capabilities and make Siri smarter and more responsive. Battery capacity is likely to be around 5100mAh, ensuring longer usage time on a single charge.
On the camera front, Apple may continue with its triple 48MP rear camera setup, but with a major improvement in the form of a variable aperture in the main sensor. This upgrade will allow better control over light and depth, resulting in more professional-quality photos. The front camera is also expected to see a big jump to 24MP, improving selfie quality and video calls. Low-light photography is likely to become sharper and more detailed compared to previous models.
In terms of design, the iPhone 18 Pro is expected to retain a similar look to its predecessor with subtle refinements. However, reports suggest that the Dynamic Island could become smaller as Face ID technology may move under the display. New color options, including a dark burgundy shade, are also expected. The smartphone could be priced starting at around ₹1,34,900 in India, with the Pro Max variant going up to ₹1,54,900. The launch is anticipated between September 3 and 9, 2026, making it one of the most awaited flagship releases of the year.
