The police have arrested the accused woman. 

What is the matter?

A woman named Radhika Lokhande killed her husband in Kupwad of Sangli district. Radhika got married to Anil Lokhande on 23 May. Just three weeks after the marriage, it came to a horrific end. Police said that 27-year-old Radhika and 53-year-old Anil had a fight late at night on 10 June. It is believed that in this fight, Radhika attacked her husband with an axe while he was sleeping and killed him.

On June 11, the police presented Radhika in the court, from where she was sent to two days of police custody. 

According to media reports, the police said that the couple had a fight over having

a physical relationship. In this fight, Radhika killed Anil by hitting him on the head with an axe while he was sleeping.
