Mahavatar Universe: A grand series of 7 films will be made on the Dashavatara of Lord Vishnu, will start from 2025

Mahavatar Cinematic Universe Films: Films based on the stories of the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu have been announced which will be made under one universe. This grand project is going to start from 2025 itself.

There is a great news for the audience who likes films based on Indian culture and mythology. Hombale Films and Klim Productions have jointly announced a mega animated cinematic universe, which has been named - Mahavatar Universe. In this grand project, the sagas of the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu will be brought to the screen, which will take the audience on a spiritual and cinematic journey for the entire twelve years.

The entire Mahavtar universe will be decorated with seven films.

This universe will start with the film 'Mahavtar Narasimha' in 2025 and the series will end with 'Mahavtar Kalki Part 2' in 2037. During this period, a total of seven films will be released, in which the stories of the major incarnations of Vishnu will be shown one by one. In each film, different eras will be brought alive on screen.

Plans for multi-platform expansion

The Mahavtar Universe will not be limited to theatres only. The project will also be launched in the form of video games, digital storytelling, graphic novels and collectibles. This means that the audience will not only watch these stories but will also be able to live them.

All eyes on the first film 'Mahavtar Narasimha'

The first film of this universe, Mahavtar Narasimha, will be released on 25 July 2025. The film will be released in 3D format in five Indian languages. Produced by Shilpa Dhawan, Kushal Desai and Chaitanya Desai, this film will present Indian mythology through grand animation. 

Hombale Films' films released so far

Earlier, many great films have been made by Hombale Films, including Yash's film 'KGF' and Prabhas' film 'Salaar'. Apart from this, a superhit film like 'Kantara' was also made under this banner.
