After helping Prabhas’ Baahubali and Ram Charan’s RRR shatter box office records, director SS Rajamouli is now aiming even higher with Mahesh Babu in their upcoming mega project tentatively titled SSMB29. With a whopping ₹1000 crore budget, this film is being designed as a global cinematic adventure, and Mahesh Babu is reportedly following a tried-and-tested formula that once earned Prabhas worldwide stardom — doing his own high-risk stunts.

Mahesh Babu, known for his clean image and composed screen presence, is now training intensively to perform the majority of action sequences himself. This move mirrors what Prabhas did for Baahubali and Ram Charan did in RRR, both of whom trusted Rajamouli’s vision and physically committed to the most challenging parts of the shoot. This hands-on approach played a huge part in connecting them with audiences and giving their characters unmatched authenticity.

The film is being shot in various exotic locations, not just across India but also abroad, making it one of Rajamouli’s most ambitious projects yet.
