The Sahil-Muskan incident of Meerut was not yet out of people's mind that another horrific incident has come to light in Uttar Pradesh. The news is from Balia (Balia Murder Case), where a 50-year-old woman, madly in love, killed her husband. Her lover assisted her in this act. The woman not only killed her husband but also cut his body into 6 pieces and then threw it on the river bank. The accused woman and her lover are now in police custody. The police also arrested two more accused who helped them on Tuesday.

Importance of relationships ended, she killed her husband

Once again the question is where is society heading. It seems as if relationships have lost all their importance. Every day news of murder of husband and wife comes to light. Maya Devi did not think even once before cutting the person with whom she had vowed to live and die for seven lives into six pieces in a single moment.

50 year old woman killed her husband

Accused Maya Devi is a resident of Bahadurpur in Ballia Thana Kotwali area. She was having an affair with someone else. Due to which she killed her husband along with her lover. She cut her husband's body into 6 pieces and threw it on the banks of Ghaghra river in Kharid village of Sikandarpur police station area. Superintendent of Police Ballia, Omveer Singh said that in this case, accused Maya Devi along with her lover Anil Yadav and her lover's two friends Satish Yadav and driver Mithilesh have been arrested.

Husband was chopped into pieces and thrown in the river

Maya Devi is so cunning that after killing her husband, she herself went to the police station to lodge a missing report. According to the police, Maya Devi gave a written complaint in Ballia police station on May 10 and told that her husband Devendra Kumar, retired from the BRO wing of the army, had gone to Bihar's Buxar railway station to bring their daughter. He has not returned yet. His mobile is also switched off. After which the police registered a missing person case and started investigating the matter. 

Hands and feet found in the river, search for head continues

Meanwhile, on May 10, a person's severed hands and legs were found in the river Diyara in Kharid village of Sikandarpur police station area. After which the police investigated further and on May 12, a torso was found in a well at a short distance from the same river. When the police identified the torso, it was found that it was of Devendra Kumar. The police is engaged in recovering the head. After the body was identified, the police interrogated Maya strictly during the investigation, in which the whole matter was revealed. 

Maya Devi arrested with her lover 

Superintendent of Police Ballia, Omvir Singh said that the arrested accused told that they have thrown Devendra's head in the Ghaghra river. The head is being searched with the help of divers. After the body was identified on May 12, the daughter of the deceased Devendra lodged a complaint in Ballia Police Station Kotwali and also filed a murder case against her mother Maya Devi and her lover Anil Yadav and his friends Satish and the driver of the Bolero car Mithlesh Patel.
