Mohammed Siraj, star fast bowler of the Indian cricket team, impressed fans with his relentless bowling in the Test series against England. Renowned for his stamina and power, Siraj rarely suffers injuries and consistently delivers peak performance. His brother, Mohammed Ismail, recently revealed that Siraj maintains a simple yet disciplined diet, avoiding junk food and even Hyderabad’s famous biryani when it’s not homemade.
A key part of Siraj’s diet includes fruits, especially bananas and blueberries. Blueberries, though costly—selling for up to ₹4000 per kilogram—are rich in antioxidants and vitamins that support fitness and recovery. Alongside fruits, Siraj also consumes eggs and dry fruits to fuel his intense training regimen.
Ismail noted Siraj’s resilience and commitment, highlighting how he intensified his fitness focus even when omitted from India’s Champions Trophy 2025 squad. Whether morning or evening, Siraj is known for his rigorous workouts that keep him at the top of his game.
In the recent test series against England, Mohammed Siraj took 23 wickets, becoming the highest wicket-taker. His standout performance at the Oval Test earned him the Player of the Match award, showcasing the results of his dedication on and off the field.
