Nikon has expanded its mirrorless camera lineup in India with the launch of the new Z5II C. The camera combines a full-frame sensor with advanced autofocus, 4K video recording and several automated shooting features designed to make photography easier for both enthusiasts and content creators.
Built around Nikon's Z mount, the new camera also introduces quick-access Imaging Recipes, allowing users to apply pre-created visual styles without manually adjusting multiple camera settings.
Nikon Z5II C price in India
The Nikon Z5II C is priced at ₹1,39,995 for the body-only version in India.
The camera will go on sale from mid-October through Nikon stores and will be available in Black and Silver colour options.
Full-frame sensor and EXPEED 7 processor
At the heart of the Z5II C is a 24.5-megapixel backside-illuminated full-frame CMOS sensor.
The camera is powered by Nikon's EXPEED 7 image processor and offers an ISO range of 100 to 64,000, giving photographers flexibility in different lighting conditions.
The camera also features in-body image stabilisation, which can help reduce the effects of camera shake when shooting handheld.
15 scene modes make photography easier
The Z5II C is designed to make photography more accessible with 15 dedicated scene modes.
These modes can automatically adjust settings according to the type of subject or shooting environment. The camera's Auto mode can also handle settings such as aperture, shutter speed, ISO and autofocus.
For users who prefer a ready-made visual style, Nikon has added a dedicated button for its Imaging Recipes. These pre-created looks can be stored in the camera and accessed quickly without having to manually adjust multiple parameters.
4K video at up to 60fps
Video is another major focus of the new camera.
The Nikon Z5II C can record 4K UHD video at up to 60fps, although 4K/60p recording applies a 1.5x crop. Full-HD video can be recorded at up to 120fps, allowing users to create slow-motion footage.
Depending on the recording settings, the camera can provide 4x and 5x slow-motion playback.
Nikon has also added a REC lamp and red frame indicator, making it easier to see when recording is in progress.
10-bit H.265 and N-Log for creators
For more advanced video workflows, the Z5II C supports 10-bit H.265 recording and Nikon's N-Log format.
It can also record 12-bit N-RAW video to an SD memory card, providing greater flexibility for post-production and colour grading.
The camera supports UVC/UAC connectivity as well, allowing it to be connected to a computer for use as a webcam or for live streaming.
AI-powered autofocus and 14fps continuous shooting
The camera's autofocus system can recognise up to 10 different types of subjects, helping users maintain focus when photographing people, animals and other moving subjects.
Continuous shooting is available at up to 14 frames per second, making the camera suitable for capturing fast-moving action, sports and wildlife.
The AI-based autofocus system is designed to make subject tracking and focusing easier, particularly in situations where the subject is constantly moving.
3.2-inch touchscreen
The Z5II C features a 3.2-inch touchscreen display.
The screen can be used for focusing, navigating camera settings and reviewing images and videos. This provides an intuitive way to control the camera, particularly for users who are moving up from smartphone photography.
Film Grain adds a retro look
Nikon has also included a Film Grain feature that can give photographs and videos a more nostalgic, analogue-inspired appearance.

Smartphone connectivity and Nikon Imaging Cloud
The Z5II C also supports Nikon Imaging Cloud, giving users tools to manage and transfer their captured content.
