Lucknow Supergiants' Ayush Badoni and Ravi Bishnoi together took an amazing catch of Punjab's Prabhsimran Singh, the video of which has gone viral on social media. Prabhsimran Singh played an aerial shot towards midwicket on Digvesh Rathi's ball. Ayush Badoni, who was ready on the boundary line, caught the ball and threw it in the air. Then Bishnoi dived and caught the catch.

Lucknow Supergiants may have suffered an 8-wicket defeat at the hands of Punjab Kings at their home ground Ekana Stadium on Tuesday, but the two Nawabs of the 'Pant Brigade', Ayush Badoni and Ravi Bishnoi, are being praised a lot.

Badoni and Bishnoi showed excellent coordination and took an amazing catch of Prabhsimran Singh on the boundary line, the video of which has gone viral on social media. When the spectators present on the ground saw this catch being taken, they were stunned. After seeing this catch, the cricket fans exclaimed - 'Wow! It was fun.'

Actually, this amazing catch was taken in the 11th over of Punjab Kings' innings. On the first ball of Digvesh Rathi's over, Prabhsimran Singh sat on his knees and played an aerial shot towards midwicket. Ayush Badoni, who was present on the boundary line, caught the ball, but when he lost his balance, he threw the ball forward in the air and himself went across the boundary line.

Bishnoi was close to Badoni then. Seeing the ball bouncing in the air, Bishnoi dived to his right and surprised everyone by catching the ball. Prabhsimran Singh himself was stunned to see this catch. The on-field umpires took the help of the third umpire to confirm the catch and the decision also came in favour of Lucknow. Prabhsimran Singh's deadly innings had a surprising end.

Lucknow's defeat at home

However, the Lucknow Supergiants team could not take advantage of the excellent catch taken by Ayush Badoni and Ravi Bishnoi. Rishabh Pant-led LSG suffered a humiliating defeat at the hands of Punjab Kings on their home ground. This was Lucknow's second defeat in three matches in the current IPL and they have reached sixth place in the points table.
