Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) has invited applications for 3,047 apprentice vacancies across 24 work centers in India. BuyMaps

The online application process started on October 29, 2026, and eligible candidates can apply till November 20.

This recruitment has been announced under advertisement number ONGC/APPR/1/2026, and it offers opportunities in technical, vocational and graduate-level subjects.

Candidates who have completed Class 10, Class 12, ITI, Diploma or relevant undergraduate degree can apply for the post matching their educational qualification.

Applicant age should be between 18 to 24 years as on November 29, 2026, age relaxation is applicable for reserved category as per  government rules.

Candidates must also meet the specific eligibility and geographical requirements of their preferred work center.

The selection process will be based on academic merit, with no separate written exam. Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.

Apprenticeship training will last for 12 months. Graduate apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of ₹12,300, diploma apprentices ₹10,900, and trade apprentices between ₹8,200 and ₹10,560, depending on their qualifications.

Interested candidates have to register through National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) portal or National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal depending on the post.

The selection results are scheduled to be announced on December 15. Candidates can visit ONGC's official website, ongcindia.com, for detailed notifications and recruitment updates.

The apprenticeship program does not guarantee permanent employment in the organization.
