According to information provided by Associated Press of Pakistan, a statement issued by the PMO said that the day will be celebrated to thank Allah, salute the armed forces and appreciate the unity of the country.

We will fight till the last drop of blood

Earlier, Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif addressed the nation at 11:30 pm on Saturday night according to Indian time. Shahbaz Sharif falsely claimed that India was the first to violate the ceasefire. In his speech, he said that India will have to pay the price for the mistake it made by attacking. Sharif spoke for about 12 minutes. He thanked US President Trump for stopping the conflict between India and Pakistan. The Pakistani PM also thanked Saudi Arabia, Turkey and China for supporting him against India.

Ceasefire was announced between India and Pakistan at 5 pm

After four days of war between India and Pakistan, ceasefire was declared at 5.30 pm on Saturday. US President Donald Trump said that the US mediated the ceasefire between the two countries. He wrote, 'After a long overnight discussion under the mediation of the USA, I am happy to inform that India and Pakistan have agreed to immediately and completely stop the attacks. I congratulate both the countries for taking a common sense, sensible decision.

Trump had informed about the ceasefire

US President Donald Trump had announced the ceasefire at around 5:30 pm yesterday. He posted on social media platform X, 'After a long conversation at nightunder the mediation of the US, I am happy to inform that India and Pakistan have agreed to immediately and completely stop the attacks. I congratulate both the countries for taking a common sense, sensible decision.
