Material

  • Green chillies – 3
  • Garlic – 4 to 5 cloves
  • Peanuts (roasted and peeled) – 1/4 cup
  • salt to taste
  • Black salt – according to taste
  • Lemon juice – 1/2 lemon
  • Green coriander - a little (a handful)
  • Oil – 1 tablespoon (1 tbsp)
  • Onion – 1 finely chopped
  • Curry leaves – few leaves
  • Paneer – 1 cup (chopped)
  • Water – as per need

Method

  1. Firstly, heat a pan and add green chillies, garlic, and peanuts and fry on low flame for 1 to 2 minutes.
  2. After this add salt and black salt and keep frying them for 4 to 5 minutes till they become golden brown.
  3. When this mixture is roasted, turn off the gas and leave it to cool.
  4. When it cools down, put this mixture in a pestle and grinder, add lemon juice and green coriander and grind it well.
  5. Now heat oil in another pan and add finely chopped onion and curry leaves and fry for a few seconds.
  6. Then add the prepared thecha mixture in this pan and mix it well.
  7. Now add Paneer pieces, add some water, mix again and cover the pan with a lid and cook for a few seconds.
