The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is providing financial support to millions of farmers across the country. Under this scheme, eligible farmers receive a four-month installment of ₹2,000. But many people have an important question: can both the father and son of a family benefit from the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana? Let's explore the government rules.
What are the government rules?
According to government regulations, only one eligible farmer per family is eligible for the PM Kisan Yojana. The scheme defines a family as a husband, wife, and dependent children. Therefore, under normal circumstances, not every member of a household can benefit from the scheme.
Special Rules for Farmers
Under certain conditions, both the father and the son's adult children can benefit from this scheme. If the agricultural land is registered separately in the father's and son's names in government revenue records, both are eligible. However, the son must be an adult. However, if the land is solely in the father's name, he cannot benefit from this scheme.
When will the next installment arrive?
The 22nd installment of the PM Kisan Yojana was deposited into farmers' accounts on March 13, 2026. The government provides this installment every four months. The 23rd installment is expected in July 2026. However, the government has not yet made an official announcement regarding this.
