Today, we're going to provide you with information about the PM Kisan Yojana. Under this scheme, the central government provides farmers with a benefit of ₹6,000 each year. This amount is disbursed to farmers in three installments of ₹2,000 each. Many farmers may be wondering whether a father and son can benefit from this scheme together. Today, we'll provide you with information on this matter. According to the scheme's official guidelines, a family consists of a husband, wife, and their minor children (under 18 years of age). Therefore, only one member of a family unit can benefit from the ₹2,000 installment under the scheme. Even if the land is registered in the names of the father, wife, and minor child, the money is transferred to the account of only one person in the family. However, if the adult son has a separate land account/khasra registered in his name, he can avail the scheme benefits separately.
