PM Kisan Yojana: How can new farmers apply for the PM Kisan Yojana? Learn about the required documents and the complete process

The government runs various schemes to provide financial benefits to every farmer. The PM Kisan Yojana has become a major financial source for farmers. Under this scheme, ₹6,000 is deposited directly into the bank accounts of eligible farmers in three equal installments each year. However, despite being eligible, many new farmers have not yet been able to take advantage of this scheme. Additionally, many young farmers who have recently turned 18 and become eligible are also preparing to participate in this scheme.

Because the government has made the registration process completely online and simple, farmers no longer need to repeatedly visit government offices. They can apply from the comfort of their homes through the official website or the PM Kisan mobile app.

Certain documents are required to apply. Applicants must have a valid Aadhaar card, land ownership documents such as a land plot, a bank account linked to Aadhaar, and an active mobile number linked to Aadhaar. Applications are verified based on these documents.

To register, first visit the official PM Kisan portal and click on the "New Farmer Registration" option. Select the appropriate option, either rural or urban, and complete the verification process by entering your Aadhaar number, mobile number, state details, and OTP. Fill in your name, bank account details, IFSC code, and land ownership information correctly in the application. Upload relevant documents, if required.

After submitting the application, it is verified at the block, tehsil, district, and state levels. If all the information is correct, the farmer's name is added to the beneficiary list. After that, the ₹2,000 installments under the scheme are deposited directly into the bank account. Therefore, every eligible new farmer should complete this simple online process and take advantage of the PM Kisan Scheme.
