PM Kisan Yojana: Modi said in Bengal that the Kisan Samman Nidhi will be increased to Rs 9,000

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made a major announcement ahead of the second phase of voting in West Bengal. He has said that if the BJP forms the government in the state, the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi given to farmers will be increased to 9,000 rupees.
Currently,
six thousand rupees are given annually across the country under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. Two thousand rupees are transferred to the bank account every four months. Addressing the rally in Bangaon, PM Modi also made several promises for women. He said, under the Lakhpati Abhiyan, the BJP government to be formed here will help 75 lakh sisters of Bengal, so that they can become Lakhpati Didi and earn more than one lakh rupees every year.
Making several other promises
, PM Modi further said, "The Bengal BJP has made a major announcement for women. Women will receive 36,000 rupees every year. If the government remains in power for five years, they will receive 180,000 rupees. Similarly, 50,000 rupees will be given for the education of daughters. Houses under the PM Awas Yojana are given to women from poor families. 150,000 rupees will be given for building a permanent house."
