During police interrogation, accused Mushtaq has made many shocking revelations. On 16 November 2024, the murderer Mushtaq took Pooja near the Kali Pulia underpass. After killing her here, he wrapped the torso in a sheet and put the head in a sack and threw it in another part of the canal, Mushtaq did this so that the body could not be easily identified. Kotwal Manohar Singh Dasauni said that the reason for the murder is a love affair. The head of the deceased woman is being searched in the canal.

In fact, Mushtaq had brought Puja to his sister's house in Islam Nagar, Khatima. Mushtaq took Puja to a deserted place near Nadanna canal near Kali Pulia underpass. Here, finding an opportunity, he killed Puja by slitting her throat with a knife. He drowned the head in a bag by putting stones in it, while the torso was wrapped in a sheet and other clothes and thrown into the canal.

Mushtaq had carried out Puja's murder with full

preparation. The crime scene and the method of murder are confirming this. According to sources, he took Puja to the dense forests of Surai Range on the pretext of killing her but could not succeed. He had taken a knife and a sheet with him to kill Puja and then dispose of the body.

After the love affair, Mushtaq took a lot of advantage of Pooja. According to sources, Pooja bought him a plot in Sitarganj. Apart from this, she also helped him financially from time to time. After being in the love affair for a few years, he refused to marry her. In the meantime, he also got married. When Pooja opposed this, he removed her from the way.

Mushtaq used to run a puncture shop in Kutri.

After this, he disposed of her head and torso. Haryana Police has arrested the accused and recovered the headless body of the girl on his information. The search for the head is on. The deceased's sister had lodged a missing report in December last year.

According to information, Pooja Mandal (32), a resident of Bengali Colony, Nanakmatta, worked in a spa center in Gurugram (Haryana) along with her younger sister Purmila Biswas. Pooja came to Sitarganj in November and did not return home after that. She was nowhere to be found.

Purmila lodged a missing person report at Sector 5 police station in Gurugram on December 19. Haryana police was continuously searching for her. On Wednesday, police arrested taxi driver Mushtaq Ali, resident of Gaurikheda, Sitarganj. He confessed to killing Puja by slitting her throat

five and a half months ago and then throwing her body in the canal.

The girl was reported missing in Gurugram. On the basis of call details, a youth from Sitarganj was arrested and questioned. He was in a love affair with the girl. There is no information about their live-in relationship yet. The youth has confessed to killing the girl. On his indication, the girl's decapitated body was recovered from the canal.
