Senior Postmaster Natwarlal of the General Post Office explained that the self-booking machine is completely self-service based. Customers can book their articles themselves without the assistance of a postal employee.

The machine also offers different language options. Customers can select the language of their choice and complete the booking process. Postal employees are helping first-time customers understand the process.

How to book speed post from the machine
To book a Speed ​​Post, first select the relevant option on the machine’s screen. Then enter the complete addresses of the sender and recipient.

After entering the address and other necessary information, the machine will generate a barcode. This barcode must be affixed to the Speed ​​Post article. The article must then be placed on the weighing machine installed in the machine.

Fees will be based on weight
After the article is weighed, the speed post fee will be displayed on the machine’s screen. Customers can pay the fee through available online payment methods.
