The investigation into the murder of Indore businessman Raja Raghuvanshi is getting more tangled as new shocking secrets emerge. Despite the arrest of the accused, the mystery remains unresolved.
According to Meghalaya Police, after Raja’s murder, his wife Sonam Raghuvanshi and her boyfriend Raj Kushwaha planned to kill another woman to mislead the police. Their sinister plan was to kill and burn a random woman, making it appear as if it was Sonam’s body to confuse investigators.
Raj Kushwaha has been identified as the mastermind behind the murder plot, while Sonam acted as a co-conspirator. Police revealed that Sonam fled Meghalaya disguised in a burqa, traveling to Indore using taxis, buses, and trains.
Superintendent of Police Vivek Sayam explained that the murder conspiracy began soon after Sonam and Raja’s marriage on May 11. Raj involved three friends to assist in the crime, providing Rs 50,000 for expenses.
Two plans were devised to kill Raja:
-
Plan A: Push Raja to his death while taking a selfie.
-
Plan B: Kill Raja first, then dispose of his body by pushing it into a ditch.
When Plan A failed, the conspirators executed Plan B, resulting in Raja’s murder.
The case continues to unfold with these startling developments raising questions about the extent of the conspiracy.
