Rajasthan: Jaipur Businessman’s House Robbed, Servant Leaves Death Threat; ₹32 Lakh Cash & Jewellery Recovered

A shocking theft case has surfaced from Jaipur’s VIP Civil Lines area, where a domestic servant stole cash and jewellery worth ₹32 lakh from a businessman’s house. The accused, identified as Gyarsi Ram alias Laxman from Dholpur, was arrested by Jaipur Police from Agra.

Threat Note Left at the Crime Scene
Following the theft on March 30, the servant left a chilling threat note on a disposable plate. The message warned: "If you try to chase me, think twice. If this matter spreads, one death is certain — whether it's mine or someone else’s. Don't take it as an empty threat."

New Mobile Exposed the Thief
Jaipur Police used CCTV footage and technical surveillance to track the accused. He had purchased a new Samsung smartphone in Agra using the stolen money. Police traced the purchase and arrested him after searching over 70 hotels and guesthouses in the city.

Stolen Goods Found Hidden in Dholpur
During interrogation, the accused confessed to hiding the stolen items at his room in Dholpur. Acting on his information, the police recovered ₹32.57 lakh in cash along with gold and silver jewellery including bangles, necklaces, rings, coins, anklets, and other valuables.

Spent Big on Liquor and Luxury
Before his arrest, Gyarsi Ram reportedly spent nearly ₹1 lakh on liquor and other luxuries while staying in an Agra hotel. The investigation is ongoing to determine if any other person was involved in the crime.
