After the flop of 'Lal Singh Chaddha', Aamir Khan is finally making a comeback on the big screen after almost three years. His new film 'Sitare Zameen Par' has been released in theaters today i.e. on June 20. The film is directed by RS Prasanna. Genelia Deshmukh is also with Aamir in the film. This film is being said to be a sequel to the 2007 classic 'Taare Zameen Par'. This time the film shows the passion, mutual understanding, and willpower of physically and mentally disabled children through sports.
A glimpse of this was seen in the trailer of 'Sitare Zameen Par'. Aamir has become the coach of a team in which all the children are physically or mentally disabled, but they have passion. He is seen giving people knowledge related to unity, cooperation, and life. On Thursday, Aamir held a special screening of the film for the film's team, disabled audience, and Bollywood celebs in Mumbai.
Aamir has received a positive response from those who watched 'Sitare Zameen Par' during the screening. Salman Khan also watched Aamir's film. Many viewers shared emotional and enthusiastic reactions, praising the message and heart-warming aspects of the film.
Sitare Zameen Par may be a remake of the Spanish film Campeones, but it brings a unique story to the Indian audience. But Sitare Zameen Par does not cross the mark that could have made it a great film.
