After this, the wife herself registered a missing report of her husband in the local police station. During the investigation, the police suspected the wife, so she was taken into custody and questioned. The police claim that during the interrogation, the wife confessed her crime and told the whole story of the husband's murder. After the accused wife, the police have also arrested her lover.

She pushed her husband out of the way to be with her lover

A man named Kannan was missing from Dhebarua police station area of ​​Siddharthnagar district since June 2. Kannan's wife Sangeeta registered her husband's missing report in Dhebarua police station. When the police started investigating, their suspicion grew on Sangeeta. When the police took Sangeeta into custody and started questioning her, she broke down. Sangeeta told the police that she loved Anil Shukla alias Vivek, but she got married to Kannan. She wanted to stay with her lover at any cost. Therefore, she conspired with her lover Anil Shukla to eliminate her husband.

Husband was poisoned in the forest of Tulsipur

Sangeeta told the police that she took her husband Kannan to the Tulsipur forest on some pretext. There she and her lover made her husband drink some poison. Her husband died shortly after drinking the poison. She and her lover threw her husband's body in the Rapti river flowing in Balrampur district. After the murder, both of them returned to their respective homes. After this, she returned home and when she could not find her husband, she registered a missing report in the local police station. According to the police, Kannan was missing since June 2.

Kannan's skeleton recovered from Rapti river

After interrogating the accused, the police recovered the skeleton of the deceased Kannan from the Rapti river on Wednesday. On the basis of the clothes, the family members identified it as Kannan. The police have registered a case of murder in Dhebarua police station on the complaint of the deceased's brother Babulal.

The accused lover used to come to the house by the name of Chinku

The deceased's brother Babulal said that Sangeeta's lover Anil Shukla used to visit their house. He used to call himself Chinku. We all thought he was Sangeeta's relative. He was acquainted with all the family members. Neither he nor any other family member ever suspected Chinku that he could do such a thing.

Both confessed their crime

Shohratgarh CO Sujit Kumar Rai says that the accused have been taken into custody. They have confessed to the crime during interrogation. A case of murder has been registered against both the accused on the complaint of the deceased's brother. Both will be produced in court.
