Sonam Raghuvanshi’s 5-Month Affair and Rejected Proposal: A Well-Planned Conspiracy to Kill Raja?

The investigation into the murder of Raja Raghuvanshi in Shillong, Meghalaya, has revealed shocking details about his wife Sonam’s secret relationship with Raj Kushwaha. Sources say that before her marriage was fixed with Raja, Raj had proposed to Sonam, but she rejected him, citing family reasons—particularly her father’s health issues.

However, Sonam and Raj maintained contact, and their relationship reportedly lasted about five months. Sonam had confided only in her mother about Raj, but even her mother opposed the match. Despite being engaged to Raja, Sonam and Raj’s affair continued, with Sonam assuring Raj she would eventually be with him.

It is now believed that this secret affair was part of a calculated plan, culminating in the murder of Raja in Meghalaya. Sonam is accused of orchestrating the crime with Raj’s help.

Meanwhile, police say Sonam is providing inconsistent information during interrogation and sometimes acts emotionally to mislead investigators. The SIT team has yet to determine the true mastermind, as both Sonam and Raj accuse each other.

The police plan to interrogate them together soon to uncover the full truth.
