SSC CGL 2025 Notification: The notification for SSC CGL 2025 recruitment has been released and the application process has also started. The last date to apply is 4th July 2025. Under this recruitment drive, a total of 14582 posts will be filled in different departments and ministries of the central government.

Staff Selection Commission i.e. SSC released the notification of SSC CGL 2025 recruitment on 9th June and with this the application process also started. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for Combined Graduate Level (CGL) recruitment by visiting the official website of SSC ssc.gov.in. The last date to apply has been fixed as 4th July 2025. Under this recruitment drive, a total of 14582 posts will be filled in different departments and ministries of the Central Government.

After filling the application form, candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 100. Most importantly, candidates will be able to make amendments in the form twice. They will have to pay Rs 200 for the first amendment and Rs 500 for the second amendment. According to SSC, the CGL exam is scheduled from August 13 to August 30, 2025. This exam will be conducted in computer based test format.

  • Now upload all the required documents, pay the application fee and submit the form.

SSC CGL 2025 Eligibility Criteria: What are the eligibility criteria?

Educational Qualification- For all the posts except Junior Statistical Officer and Statistical Investigator (Grade-II), applicants should have a graduation degree in any subject. At the same time, for Junior Statistical Officer, there should be a graduation degree from a recognized university and at least 60 percent marks in Maths in 12th. Apart from this, for Statistical Investigator (Grade-II), there should be a graduation degree in Economics, Statistics or Maths (compulsory) or as optional from a recognized university.

Age limit- For some posts, the age limit is 18 to 27 years, for some it is 18 to 30 years, for some it is 18 to 32 years and for some it is 20 to 30 years. Candidates of OBC, SC and ST category will also be given relaxation in age limit as per government rules.

SSC CGL 2025 Exam Pattern: What is the exam pattern?

The Combined Graduate Level Examination i.e. SSC CGL exam is conducted in two levels, Tier-I and Tier-II. The merit list will be prepared only on the basis of the overall performance of the candidate in the Tier-II exam. The Tier-I exam will be conducted from August 13 to August 30 and the Tier-II exam will be conducted in December 2025.
