People have got relief from the heat after rain in many states of the country. The weather in Delhi is also cold. There is an orange alert for rain in Delhi, where the temperature is also falling. Rain alert has also been issued for the next four days in Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan. During this time, there is also a possibility of thunderstorms in these places. Hailstorms may occur in Uttarakhand and Gujarat.

In April, the scorching heat in Delhi had made the condition of people worse. On the other hand, the weather in the capital has remained cool since the beginning of May. On Monday, the temperature in Delhi has also seen a drop as compared to Sunday, where the maximum temperature of Delhi on Sunday was 36 degrees Celsius. On the other hand, today i.e. on Monday, the temperature of Delhi is expected to be 34 degrees Celsius. Along with this, an alert of rain with thunderstorms has been issued in Delhi for the next four days.

According to the Meteorological Department, it rained in Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh, where the rain has brought relief to people from the scorching heat in some parts of Rajasthan and the day temperature has dropped by 2 to 7 degrees Celsius. There is a possibility of thunderstorms and rain continuing for the next 5 days. The Shimla-based Meteorological Department said that light to moderate rain occurred in many parts of the state during the 24 hours from 5 pm on Saturday.

Rain alert with thunderstorm

There is an alert of rain with thunderstorms in Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh till May 6. Along with this, there is also a possibility of hailstorm at different places in western Madhya Pradesh. There is also a possibility of heavy rain in Chhattisgarh and Odisha on May 5. There is a possibility of lightning and strong winds in Jammu and Kashmir, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh during May 5 to May 10.

Possibility of hailstorm in Uttarakhand

There is a possibility of hailstorm in Uttarakhand during the next two days. Today, i.e. on 05 May, dust storms may occur at different places in eastern Rajasthan. There is a possibility of heavy rain at different places in western Rajasthan from today to 8 May. There is a possibility of strong winds with lightning in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Tamil Nadu during the next 7 days.

Strong winds will blow in these states

There is a possibility of lightning and strong winds in Northeast India during the next 7 days. Strong winds may blow in Gujarat, Goa, Maharashtra and Marathwada during 6 to 8 May. There is a possibility of hailstorm at different places in Gujarat state on 05 May. There is a possibility of heavy rain at different places in Gujarat state from today to 8 May.

Temperatures drop in western India

There is no significant change in maximum temperature over Northwest India and Central India during next 4 days and thereafter there is possibility of increase of 2-3°C for next 4 days. There is no significant change in maximum temperature over West India during next 3 days and thereafter there is possibility of increase of 3-5°C for next 4 days. There is possibility of decrease of 3-5°C in maximum temperature over West India.
