Aaj-kal street food sabka favourite hai—chole bhature, gol gappa, gajar ka halwa ya garlic bread. Lekin jab inhe ghar par banaya jaata hai, to aksar wahi baat nahi aati. Kabhi bhature phoolte nahi, kabhi garlic bread mein garlic ka flavour kam reh jaata hai, aur kabhi halwa halwai-jaisa rich nahi lagta.

Cheeni – 1 tsp

Tel – 2 tbsp

Pani – gundhne ke liye
Method
Sabhi sookhi cheezein mila lein. Ab dahi aur tel daal kar soft dough gundh lein. Dhak kar 3–4 ghante rest karne dein.
Rest jitna zyada hoga, bhature utne hi soft aur fluffy banenge.
Ab bel kar garam tel mein tal lein. Market-jaise phule hue bhature tayaar hain.
Halwai-style Gajar ka Halwa
Ingredients

Gajar (kasi hui) – 1 kg

Full cream doodh – 1 litre

Ghee – 4 tbsp

Cheeni – ¾ cup

Mawa – 200 g

Elaichi powder

Kaju aur kishmish
Method
Gajar aur doodh ko dheemi aanch par pakayein jab tak doodh poori tarah soak na ho jaye.
Ab ghee daal kar bhunein. Phir cheeni milayein.
Ant mein mawa, elaichi aur dry fruits daal kar serve karein. Bilkul halwai-jaisa taste milega.
Market-style Gajak ghar par
Ingredients

Gud – ¾ cup

Method
Til ko bhun kar halka coarse pees lein.
Gud ko pighla kar ek taar ki chashni bana lein.
Til milayein, ghee lagi plate par failayein aur thanda hone par tukdon mein kaat lein.
Crispy gajak tayaar hai.

Method
Maida aur sooji se hard dough bana kar chhoti puriyan bel ke tal lein.
Pani ke liye thande pani mein pudina, dhaniya, namak, kala namak, jeera powder, hari mirch paste, imli aur chaat masala milayein.
Chahein to ek chutki hing bhi daal sakte hain.
Ab filling aur pani ke saath serve karein—pure street-style taste.
Cafe-style Garlic Bread

Lahsun (kasa hua) – 1 tbsp

Method
Butter, lahsun, oregano aur chilli flakes mila lein.
Bread par garlic butter lagayein, cheese daalein aur pan ya oven mein bake karein.
