Robotics CEO suicide news: In Washington state of America, Indian-origin tech entrepreneur Harshvardhana S Kikkeri shot his wife Shwetha Panyam and 14-year-old son and then took his own life.
First he ended his wife and son's life and then his own
On April 24th, in his home in Newcastle (Washington), under unknown circumstances Harsh Vardhan killed his wife and son and then committed suicide.
One son survived because he was not at home
According to the police, the couple's other son escaped the gruesome incident as he was not present at home at the time. Neighbours heard gunshots and informed the police.
Who was Harshavardhana Kikkeri?
Harshvardhan Kikkeri belonged to K.R. Pet taluk of Mandya district in Karnataka. He was the founder and CEO of HoloWorld, a robotics startup based in Mysuru. His wife Swetha Paniyam was the co-founder.
Returned to India with family during Covid, then laid the foundation of Holoworld
In the year 2017, he returned to India from America and started HoloWorld. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the company had to be closed in the year 2022 and after that Harshvardhan returned to America.
Worked in Microsoft, met Modi
Harsh Vardhan, who is well versed in technology, has also worked for a giant company like Microsoft in America. At the peak of his career, he met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and made a presentation on the use of robots in border security.
The reason for the murder has not been revealed yet
According to the King County Sheriff's Office, the reason for the murder is not yet clear and the case is under investigation. Neighbors told the media that the family was quiet and friendly but did not socialize much.
