Death, this is such a truth that the more it is understood, the more its puzzle gets complicated. It is a mystery and a puzzle too. After death the body may get destroyed, but the energy present in the body, that is, the soul, does not end. After death, the soul has strange experiences for a long time. Which is very painful for them. After death the body gets destroyed. Therefore it is burnt or buried. But the soul never ends, it just keeps transforming from one body to another. It is mentioned in Garuda Purana that it takes 40 days for the soul to reach Yamaloka. But do you know that 1 hour after death, that is, 60 minutes, are very important for that soul. It has to face strange situations. 

Unconscious state

After death, when the soul leaves the body, it remains in an unconscious state for some time. It is something like the experience of a person feeling tired or in a deep sleep after doing a lot of hard work. But after some time, it becomes conscious again.

Normal behavior

After death, when the soul leaves the body, it does not remember what happened to it. Therefore, when the soul comes out of the body, it behaves normally as before.

Restlessness and Nervousness

The soul starts feeling restless and nervous when it calls out to its relatives and wants to say something to them but no one can see or hear it. Its voice remains only to it. In such a situation, the soul gets scared. This happens because a person can see and feel only physical things.

Worldly illusion

The soul feels sad to leave the body. Therefore, it tries to meet and talk to its relatives. But its efforts are unsuccessful. This happens because the soul too gets trapped in the web of worldly attachment and illusion and feels sad to leave the body.

Attempt to enter the body

The soul tries to enter the same body in which it has lived for many years. But the messengers of Yamraj stop it from entering the body. Initially it is difficult for it. But gradually the soul also accepts that the time has come to separate from the body.

Sadness

Some time after being separated from the dead body, the soul remembers its deeds. During this time, it especially remembers its bad deeds. It sees its family members and relatives crying and remembers what good or bad it did to whom. After this, the soul starts moving towards the path of Yamaloka.

New birth according to karma

After reaching Yam Marg, the soul gets a new birth according to its deeds. Some souls get a new birth immediately while some souls have to wait.
