Sonam, who had gone to Meghalaya for her honeymoon with her husband Raja Raghuvanshi, has finally been found. The police were looking for her for the last 17 days. The police say that Sonam got her husband killed.
Sonam Raghuvanshi... for whom the Meghalaya police was searching every inch for the last 17 days. To find her, the special team of NDRF was sent into the trench, which had conducted operations in the bone-chilling cold of Kashmir and the scorching heat of Rajasthan. For whom 60-70 soldiers were wandering in the forests risking their lives, the same Sonam was found in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh. Sonam, who had gone to Meghalaya for honeymoon, had herself got her husband Raja Raghuvanshi killed by giving a contract.
This news has shocked the whole country. Till now Sonam was being considered a victim and no one had thought that she would turn out to be the mastermind of this entire conspiracy. When the news of her arrest came on Monday morning, the story changed completely. Along with Sonam, three more people have been arrested, who were involved in this murder. After some time, Sonam's lover Raj Kushwaha was also arrested.
According to sources, Sonam was having an affair with Raj Kushwaha, who worked as a manager in her father's mica company. Raj is five years younger than her. Sonam was HR in the company and both of them had a very close relationship. It is being said that Sonam killed her husband Raja Raghuvanshi because of this affair.
First hint
If we look at the whole incident, Sonam started showing her attitude right after marriage, but Raja could not understand her gestures. The first gesture was the honeymoon tickets. Raja Raghuvanshi's family members say that Sonam herself booked the tickets for the honeymoon. Raja had no such plans. He had also talked to his mother about this, but his mother said yes thinking that the new daughter-in-law's heart should not be broken.
Second hint
Sonam gave the second hint when she suddenly made a plan to go to Meghalaya at the last moment. Raja's family says that when both of them left the house, they had only talked about going to Guwahati. But, after visiting Maa Kamakhya Devi, when they came to know that Raja and Sonam were going to Meghalaya, they were a little surprised. According to the family, Sonam planned to go to Meghalaya.
Third gesture
Raja Raghuvanshi was in the transport business. Raja, who was very calm by nature, never did anything without planning. His family said that whenever Raja went anywhere outside the city, he would do a thorough research about the place. They could not believe that he went to a place in Shillong about which he did not even know. The place where Raja's body was found, has seen many such incidents before. In such a situation, it is suspected that Sonam persuaded Raja to go there. This was the third hint, which Raja could not understand.
Contract killers hired for murder
Sonam is now in police custody and is being questioned. She is accused of hiring a contract killer to kill Raja. According to the police, Sonam surrendered in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, while three other accused were arrested in a raid. The news of Raj Kushwaha's arrest came shortly after the arrest of these four. Meghalaya DGP I Nongrang said that the arrested people have revealed that Sonam had hired them to kill Raja.
28 Day Marriage and Murder Mystery
Raja Raghuvanshi got married to Sonam on 11 May and on 20 May both reached Guwahati via Bangalore. Here first they visited Maa Kamakhya Devi and after that left for Meghalaya. They last talked to the family on 22 May, after which both their mobiles were switched off. After receiving a complaint from the family on 24 May, the police started looking for them and on 2 June Raja's body was found in a ditch. After this the police started looking for Sonam. On 9 June Sonam was found in Gorakhpur, UP.
Police got clue from the guide
Sonam's arrest came just a day after revelations were made in which a guide from Shillong had told about three strangers. The guide told the police that he had seen the couple along with three other people climbing more than three thousand steps from Nongriat to Mawlakhiyat at around 10 am on May 23. According to the guide, Sonam was walking behind, while Raja Raghuvanshi and the three men were walking ahead. He told that all four of them were talking in Hindi. After this, the police suspected that the killers of Raja Raghuvanshi may not be from Meghalaya, but from outside.
