A woman from Madhola police station area in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, has made serious allegations against a man and his family. She claims that the man, identified as Iqrar, deceived her by hiding his true identity and marrying her under the false name of Raj Thakur. According to her complaint, after their marriage, he began pressuring her to convert to Islam. When she resisted, Iqrar allegedly involved his brothers in gangrape.

The Full Case:

The woman, who lost her husband a few years ago, met Iqrar in 2022. He reportedly introduced himself as Raj Thakur and expressed his desire to marry her. Concerned about her children's future, the woman agreed to marry him. However, after the wedding, she was taken to his village in Bhojpur, where she discovered that Iqrar was Muslim and his real name was Iqrar. Upon raising objections, Iqrar and his family members began pressuring her to convert to Islam. When she refused, his brothers allegedly raped her.

Police Investigation:

Based on the woman's complaint, the police have filed charges for assault, dowry harassment, and threats. The woman was accompanied by members of the Hindu Yuva Vahini, who have demanded action against the accused. The police have assured that the matter will be thoroughly investigated, and the Madhola police station SHO has been instructed to take appropriate action.
