Vaibhav Suryavanshi Set to Shine in Upcoming Under-19 Tri-Series as Schedule Announced

India’s 14-year-old batting prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi continues to make waves in youth cricket. After a stellar performance on India Under-19’s tour of Australia and as vice-captain of the Bihar Ranji Trophy team, Suryavanshi is set to don the national jersey again in an exciting tri-series.
Tri-Series Featuring Afghanistan and Two Indian Teams
The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) recently announced that the Afghanistan Under-19 cricket team will tour India for a tri-nation youth ODI series, which will also feature India Under-19 A and B teams. This means that Suryavanshi may represent one of the Indian squads in the series.
The series will follow a double round-robin format, with each team playing four matches. The top two teams will then face off in the final.

All matches will be played in the ODI format at the Centre of Excellence (COE) in Bengaluru. The schedule is as follows:

This series will provide valuable match practice ahead of the ICC Men’s Under-19 Cricket World Cup, allowing young talents like Suryavanshi to gain crucial international exposure.
Preparation for the Under-19 World Cup
ACB CEO Naseeb Khan said, “With the ICC Under-19 World Cup approaching, we have been preparing our team over the past two to three months through training camps and international tours, including a five-match series in Bangladesh and this upcoming tri-series in India.”
The series promises exciting contests and an opportunity for emerging players like Vaibhav Suryavanshi to showcase their talent on an international stage.
