The monsoon has once again become fully active in most parts of Rajasthan. As a result, many districts of the state are experiencing heavy rainfall. The India Meteorological Department, Jaipur Center, has issued an immediate weather warning for several districts of the state. This warning primarily focuses on districts like Jaipur, Churu, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Alwar, Bharatpur, Dausa, Karauli, and Baran.
Alert issued:
The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in the plains like Alwar and Bharatpur including the capital Jaipur. Along with the movement of clouds in these cities, moderate rain is being recorded at some places. Due to being adjacent to the Aravalli hills, there is a possibility of sudden gusts of strong winds in these districts. The weather has also changed a lot in Sikar and Churu districts of Shekhawati region. Due to the rain that has been happening here for some time, a drop in temperature has been recorded, which has given relief to the people from the humid heat.
The pace of monsoon has slowed down.
After remaining active for several days in Rajasthan, the pace of monsoon has now slowed down. According to the Meteorological Department, weak monsoon conditions are likely to prevail in the state for the next one week starting from 10th and 11th July. During this period, the weather will remain mainly dry in most of the areas and only light rain may occur at some places. Although the pace of monsoon has slowed down for now, the Meteorological Department says that there is less chance of heavy rain for the next few days.
