WhatsApp support on this iPhone will stop starting November 30th! Get these important tasks done on time, or else…

Are you using an older iPhone model? Bad news for you. Tech company Meta has announced that WhatsApp support will be discontinued on some iPhones and iPads starting November 30th. These iPhone and iPad users must have iOS 15.5 or later and iPadOS 15.5 or later to continue using WhatsApp. Users of devices running older Apple operating systems will lose WhatsApp support until they update their devices.

The company has given time till November 30.
Now, iPhone users will need a new iOS version on their iPhone to use WhatsApp after November 30 and WhatsApp will not work on older iOS versions. So if you are using an older iPhone, the company has given you time till November 30 to update your device. Earlier, the company had decided to stop WhatsApp support for versions older than iOS 15.1. This ended their compatibility with iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. (Photo Credit – Pinterest)

No need to replace iPhone, just update.
Usually, WhatsApp periodically stops supporting older operating systems to introduce new features and protect against cybercrime. However, the company won't do that this time. All devices currently running iOS 15.1 can be updated to iOS 15.5. This means that older iPhone users won't need to replace their iPhones to continue using WhatsApp, but simply update them.

Which iPhone models will be affected?

This decision will affect users of the iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone SE (1st gen), iPhone 7, and iPhone 7 Plus. If users are using older iOS versions on these iPhone models, they will need to update to iOS 15.8.8. After this update, users will no longer experience any problems using WhatsApp on their iPhones. However, this must be done as soon as possible, as the company has given time until November 30th for this.

Follow these steps to update iPhone
