Moradabad: 23 Days Baby Dies A heartbreaking incident has emerged from Sihali Jagir village in the district, which is now being widely discussed. A 23-day-old newborn died after being crushed in bed. It is being reported that the couple twisted in their sleep and the baby died after being crushed. Although the newborn was immediately rushed to the hospital, doctors declared him dead.

23 Days Baby Dies According to the information received, the wife of a young man resident of Sihali Jagir had given birth to a child 23 days ago. It is being told that on Sunday late evening the couple was sleeping on the bed and a 23 day old newborn was also sleeping between them. At around 8 o'clock in the night, when the mother of the newborn woke up and saw, the child was lying lifeless on the bed. On seeing this, the frightened woman raised an alarm and the family members also woke up. In a hurry, the newborn was taken to the Community Health Centre (CHC), where the doctor declared him dead after examination.

The distressed husband and wife broke down in tears. They began arguing in the hospital premises, blaming each other for the infant's death. Family members and others present at the scene managed to calm them down. Afterward, everyone returned home, heartbroken.

The newborn's death has become a topic of discussion among the general public in the area. Dr. Yogendra Singh, in-charge of the Central Health Center (CHC), stated that the newborn's family members identified themselves as residents of Sihali village in the area. An investigation revealed that the newborn died due to suffocation. He also clarified that no legal action has been taken in this case.
