Recently, the Philippines allowed Indian passport holders to travel without a visa. Air India has also started direct flights between Delhi and Manila. Now, traveling to Manila, Philippines, won't take a full day. Travelers can reach there on a 7-hour flight.
Where can Indians travel without a visa?
According to the Henley Passport Report 2025, Indian passport holders can now avail visa-free travel to 30 countries and visa-on-arrival facility to 28 countries.
Visa-Free Countries
Philippines, Thailand, Mauritius, Kenya, Malaysia, Nepal, Fiji, Bhutan, Jamaica, Kazakhstan, Angola, Rwanda etc.
Visa-on-arrival countries
Countries like Indonesia, Cambodia, Jordan, Maldives, Myanmar, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe provide visa on arrival facility to Indian travellers.
Electronic Travel Authority (ETA)
Countries like Seychelles also offer Digital Travel Permit (ETA) facility to Indians, which makes the visa process easier.
Why is this occasion special?
This year, Diwali falls at the end of October. October also marks the longest long weekend in the world, allowing travelers to enjoy their vacations without taking extended breaks from work.
