A big gift to Gujarat, PM Modi will dedicate the first 9000HP locomotive engine to the country in Dahod

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to give a big gift to Gujarat on 26 and 27 May. After Operation Sindoor, Prime Minister Modi is coming to his motherland Gujarat for the first time. During this time, PM Modi will be present in many programs in Gandhinagar, Kutch and Dahod districts. He will visit Matano Madh Ashapura temple after the public meeting on Mirjapar Road in Kutch district headquarters Bhuj.

A railway production unit has been built in Dahod at a cost of Rs 20 thousand crores, in which the first 9000 HP locomotive engine will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Modi. This railway factory built on the PPP model in Dahod will produce 1200 engines in 10 years and in future they will also be exported to other countries.

According to the information, for the first time AC and toilet have been placed in the engine for the driver. Along with this, cover systems have already been installed to avoid accidents. In the railway factory built in Dahod at a cost of Rs 20 thousand crores, about 1200 locomotive engines are going to be manufactured in the next 10 years. Recently 4 engines are being manufactured in Dahod. Manufacturing by Dahod will be written on all these engines.

It will also become a source of employment

Due to this project, 10 thousand people will get direct and indirect employment in Dahod and its surrounding areas. The local economy will also get a big boost. Apart from this, the multinational company that emerged as the lowest bidder will need various items for the production of railway engines and due to this, an opportunity will be created for small and big companies of power sector and engineering sector to supply these items.

It is worth noting that the average speed of the 9000 HP 6 axle electric engine will be 75 km per hour. The maintenance of these engines will be done at Kharagpur in West Bengal, Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, Raipur in Chhattisgarh and Pune depot in Maharashtra.
