Aamir Khan’s Son Junaid Khan’s Film Renamed ‘Mere Raho’, Sai Pallavi Makes Bollywood Debut in 4000 Crore Budget Project

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, who continues to shine at 60, now watches as his son, Junaid Khan, makes strides in the film industry. Junaid debuted on OTT and then in Bollywood with the film Loveyaapa. Though his first Bollywood film didn’t perform well financially, Junaid continues to receive offers and is gearing up for his next venture, starring opposite South Indian actress Sai Pallavi, who is making her Bollywood debut.

The film previously known as Ek Din has been retitled Mere Raho and its release date has been postponed from November 7 to December 12, 2025. Directed by Sunil Pandey, the project is jointly produced by Aamir Khan and Mansoor Khan, marking their reunion after 17 years since the cult classic Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na (2008).

Sai Pallavi, celebrated for her natural acting in South Indian cinema, will step into Bollywood with this romantic drama. Interestingly, she is also playing the lead role of Sita in the upcoming epic film Ramayana, touted to be India’s biggest-ever project with an estimated budget of 4000 crores.

While Loveyaapa was made on a 30 crore budget and grossed under 8 crore at the box office, Mere Raho is seen as a fresh opportunity for Junaid Khan to prove his mettle alongside a strong ensemble backed by veteran producers and a promising star in Sai Pallavi.

With picturesque shooting locations like Japan’s Snow Festival in Sapporo and high expectations surrounding the film’s release, Mere Raho promises to be a significant chapter both for Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi in Bollywood.
