Ajay Devgn, known for keeping theatres busy with his films every year, hasn’t had a blockbuster run in 2025 so far. But the superstar is already gearing up for his next move — this time, behind the camera instead of in front of it. Reports suggest that Ajay has taken charge as a producer for a mega period action-creature film, starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Mohit Raina in lead roles.

Not as an Actor, but as a Producer

Interestingly, Ajay was initially approached to play a role in this project. However, he turned it down and chose to come on board as a producer under his Ajay Devgn FFilms banner. The film is said to be designed for an OTT release, offering a rare genre blend of action, mythology, and creature elements, something not often seen in Indian cinema.

The Casting

• Mohit Raina, who is soon to be seen portraying Lord Shiva in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayan, will play a strong role in this new film as well.

• Siddhant Chaturvedi, fresh off Dhadak 2, sees this as another big leap in his career. Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, he said, “Maybe I am a little lucky. Getting such scripts makes me feel there’s some power inside me.”

Ajay’s Last Release

Ajay Devgn was last seen in Son of Sardar 2, which released posthumously featuring late actor Mukul Dev. Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, the film also starred Ravi Kishan, Mrunal Thakur, Sanjay Mishra, Neeru Bajwa, and others.

With this upcoming venture, Ajay seems set to expand his footprint as a producer, investing in fresh talent and ambitious storytelling.
