Actor Akshay Kumar recently shared insights about his married life with Twinkle Khanna while appearing on a show hosted by Kajol and Twinkle. The Bollywood star opened up about how his life transformed after tying the knot with Twinkle, describing her as his source of good luck.

Akshay on Twinkle’s Initial Hesitation
Akshay revealed that Twinkle was initially hesitant to work with him, partly due to his streak of flop films. “When you meet a person, two horoscopes match, but she did not believe in it,” he said, highlighting the role of astrology in their early discussions.

He added that Twinkle’s family took extra precautions before the marriage, including asking about his family’s medical history and even conducting DNA tests of his relatives to ensure they would have healthy children. After all this, she agreed to marry him, and Akshay says, “When I married her, my luck changed.”

Twinkle Khanna also reflected on the role of fate in their union. She shared that her father’s astrologer had once predicted she would marry Akshay Kumar, even before she knew him. The prediction, along with their eventual meeting, reinforced the sense of destiny in bringing them together.
