Hisar Crime News: A shocking case of fraud has come to light in Hisar, Haryana. Fraudsters duped a BJP leader in the name of getting him a ticket for the Lok Sabha elections. Police have arrested two fraudsters.
A case of fraud has come to light in the name of getting a Lok Sabha election ticket for a BJP leader from Hisar, Haryana. Hansi SP Amit Yashvardhan has disclosed this case. A deal of Rs 100 crore was struck in the name of getting a ticket for BJP leader Praveen Godara from Hisar Lok Sabha seat. The BJP leader transferred Rs 63 lakh 88 thousand online to the accounts of the accused. During this time, the leader came to know that he had been duped.
The fraudsters had said that they have connections with big leaders of the party. When the BJP leader's name did not appear in the ticket list and he was not given his money back when he asked for it, he lodged a complaint with the police. This deal was done during a meeting at the BJP headquarters in Delhi. The police have registered a case and arrested two people. Both the accused are on 6-day police remand.
There has been a new twist in the case of fraud of lakhs of rupees from a BJP leader resident of New Subhash Nagar, Hansi, Hisar. A deal of Rs 100 crore was struck with BJP leader Praveen Godara in the name of getting him a ticket for Hisar Lok Sabha seat. Police has arrested two accused in this case, while an FIR was registered against four people. The Superintendent of Police held a press conference on Tuesday and revealed important information related to the case.
The deal was done during a meeting at the BJP headquarters
According to the Superintendent of Police, this deal was struck during a meeting at the BJP headquarters in Delhi, where the accused, claiming to be connected to the top level, assured Godara of getting a Lok Sabha ticket. Praveen Godara met Kapil Agarwal and Harsh Agarwal at the BJP party headquarters in Delhi. These people assured Praveen that they will get him a ticket for Hisar Lok Sabha. Harpal Singh and Ashish Pathak were met at North Avenue. This deal was struck for 100 crores, in which 30 crores were to be paid in advance and 70 crores after getting the ticket.
Money was sent to the accounts of the accused
SP Amit Yashvardhan said that in the subsequent meetings, Praveen Godara transferred 63 lakh 88 thousand rupees online to the accounts of the accused. These accounts were in the name of Kapil Agarwal and Kapil Agarwal transferred this money to Ashish Pathak, who has been arrested by the police. Police had arrested two people in this case, one of whom was identified as Kapil, a resident of Rajendra Nagar, Delhi and Ashish, a resident of Dayal Market, Gurugram. Police arrested them and took them on 6-day remand. Police has taken them to Delhi for investigation. Praveen Godara had lodged a complaint with the police on 22 April 2025.
The accused are part of a gang
The Superintendent of Police said that the accused may be part of an organized gang, who carry out similar frauds by targeting leaders with political ambitions. The Superintendent of Police said that interrogation of the arrested accused is going on and teams have been formed to arrest the remaining two named accused. One of these accused Harpal had applied for bail which has been rejected. The SP also said that more big names may come to light in the case. The Superintendent of Police said that the accused Ashish Pathak from whom the money came through Kapil Agarwal's account has an IT company named Blue Pack. In which a current account is run and it is registered in the name of Ashish Pathak.
