Aston Martin Cars Become Up to ₹4.02 Crore Cheaper in India After India-UK FTA

Luxury car buyers in India have received a major boost as British sports car manufacturer Aston Martin has announced substantial price cuts across its model lineup. Following the implementation of the India-UK Free Trade Agreement (FTA), the company has reduced prices on several imported models by passing on the benefits of lower import duties to customers.

The price reductions are significant, with some models becoming cheaper by more than ₹4 crore. The move is expected to make Aston Martin's super-luxury vehicles more accessible to affluent buyers and strengthen the brand's position in India's growing premium automobile market.

Price Cuts Across the Aston Martin Range

Aston Martin has revised the prices of several of its flagship models, including the Vantage, DB12, DBX, and Vanquish.

The biggest reduction has been announced for the Aston Martin Vanquish Volante. Previously priced at ₹10.92 crore (ex-showroom), the luxury convertible now costs ₹6.90 crore, marking a massive price drop of ₹4.02 crore.

The Aston Martin Vanquish Coupe has also become considerably more affordable, with its price reduced by approximately ₹3.71 crore.

Among the brand's luxury SUV and grand tourer offerings, the DBX S now costs ₹2.65 crore less than before, while the DB12 S has received a price reduction of around ₹2.64 crore.

Entry-Level Sports Cars Also Get Cheaper

Aston Martin has also revised the pricing of its more accessible sports car range.

The Vantage S, one of the brand's entry-level performance models, is now priced at ₹3.15 crore after receiving a price cut of approximately ₹1.84 crore.

Similarly, the Vantage S Roadster is now available at ₹3.35 crore, making open-top Aston Martin ownership comparatively more attainable for luxury car enthusiasts in India.

India-UK FTA Driving Lower Prices

The reduction follows the implementation of the India-UK Free Trade Agreement, which has lowered import duties on several vehicles manufactured in the United Kingdom. Luxury carmakers are now passing these savings directly to customers, resulting in significantly lower prices across multiple premium brands.

Aston Martin is not the only British manufacturer to benefit from the revised duty structure. Jaguar Land Rover has already reduced prices on select Range Rover SV and Range Rover Sport SV models. McLaren has also announced lower prices for its 750S range, while Bentley has opened bookings for the Bentayga at revised pricing.

What It Means for Buyers

The lower pricing is expected to increase the appeal of Aston Martin vehicles among India's growing base of high-net-worth individuals. Buyers who were previously considering rival brands may now find Aston Martin's offerings more competitively priced.

Industry experts believe the India-UK FTA could reshape the country's ultra-luxury automotive segment by making British brands more price competitive. As import duties continue to decline under the agreement, more premium manufacturers may announce similar price revisions, potentially boosting sales and expanding their presence in the Indian luxury car market.
