A shocking case of suspected disappearance has surfaced in Banda, Uttar Pradesh, involving Vinay Srivastava, a crorepati bus contractor linked with St. Mary’s Senior Secondary School. His abandoned scooter with keys was found on the Ken River bridge, sparking fears of suicide or foul play.

Wife Blames School Principal for Harassment

Vinay’s wife, Nupur Srivastava, a teacher at the same school, has alleged that Principal David was mentally harassing her husband over a dispute related to school bus service royalty payments. She stated that her husband left his mobile at home before heading to the bridge, and he has not been seen since.

The Royalty Dispute

Vinay had entered into a contractual agreement to run school buses for St. Mary’s, which included a 9% annual royalty (₹9.12 lakh) to be paid to the school fund. However, he allegedly failed to pay, prompting repeated reminders and eventual confrontation by the principal.

The situation escalated when Vinay and another partner, Shakir (a government officer’s stenographer), allegedly entered the school in an intoxicated state, abused teachers, and refused to cooperate with school administration. Following this, the principal demanded the resignation of both their wives, who were teachers at the school.

Principal Denies Allegations

Principal Mr. David held a press conference presenting CCTV footage as evidence, showing Vinay and Shakir misbehaving on school premises. He claimed that the accusations against him were an attempt to dodge financial obligations. He further added that Vinay had even said he couldn’t pay anything until 2026.

Police Investigating Disappearance

The police have filed a missing person report and are investigating all angles, including suicide, abduction, or staged disappearance. The abandonment of his phone and scooter has raised serious suspicions.

Meanwhile, Nupur Srivastava has demanded that a murder case be registered against Principal David if her husband is not found alive.

This incident has shaken Banda, sparking conversations about abuse of influence, school politics, and mental health pressures tied to financial disputes.
