While referring to Operation Sindoor, Hanuman Beniwal said something in the Lok Sabha that the MPs present there could not stop laughing. The entire House echoed with laughter after listening to his words.

During the monsoon session of Parliament, discussion on Operation Sindoor continued till late night in the Lok Sabha on Monday. During this, opposition MPs asked sharp questions to the government. Hanuman Beniwal, RLP MP from Nagaur, was also asking questions on Operation Sindoor. But his style was such that the MPs present in the House could not stop laughing. Referring to Operation Sindoor, Hanuman Beniwal said that India filled sindoor in the maang of Pakistan, then Pakistan became India's wife. Hearing this, the entire House echoed with laughter.

'India filled sindoor in the hair parting of Pakistan'

Hanuman Beniwal, while referring to Operation Sindoor, said that it is very unfortunate that the incident happened on 22 April and Operation Sindoor started on the night of 8 May. This operation went on for two days, after which the government said that Pakistan has come on its knees. And the country's media said that they have reached Karachi and captured Lahore, and are going to hoist the flag on Islamabad. Beniwal said that we thought the job was done. We will reach Pakistan by morning. The government also named the operation Sindoor. It seems that India is applying sindoor to Pakistan's maang. It was looking exactly like that. Hearing his words, the MPs present there including Arjun Meghwal started laughing, then Beniwal said don't laugh.

The House echoed with laughter after hearing Beniwal's words

Beniwal did not stop here, he said that in our Hindu religion the meaning of Sindoor is that... On hearing this, someone said something, to which he said that you yourself gave a speech for half an hour and you are telling me to leave, it's amazing. On hearing this, Chandrashekhar sitting nearby could also not stop his laughter. He started laughing loudly. On hearing Beniwal's words, the entire house echoed with laughter. During this, the RLP MP said that I will not speak, what else... However, he did not stop.

Taking his point further, he said that in our Hindu religion, sindoor means that women consider their husband as sindoor and apply it in their maang as a symbol. He said that India applied sindoor inside Pakistan. Then Pakistan became the wife of India. Now only farewell is left, your work is done. 

'If the soldiers had not sacrificed their lives, how many MPs would have been killed'

Beniwal said that we should hold discussions inside this house, all the talks and arguments...there was laughter and jokes and allegations and counter-allegations, but whatever kind of allegations were made, he said that I will not tell you what kind of allegations were made. After this, taking his point further, Hanuman Beniwal said that it was unfortunate that this terrorism is not new in India. He said that whether the government was of Congress or BJP, terrorists had entered the Lok Sabha. If they had come a little forward and if the Parliament Security Jawans had not sacrificed their lives, then who knows how many MPs would have been killed.

We will sit till 12 midnight in honor of the army

Beniwal was just finishing his speech when his time was over and the bell was rung. To which he said, what happened? Let me speak, there is still time. Beniwal said that first of all you are calling me at 10.30 or 11, the news is not going to be published in the newspaper. Now we will have to deal with social media only. If we are sitting here, it means that we are strong people. So, to honor the army, we will sit in the House even at 12 in the night.
