Bold Theft at Hanuman Temple in Bhagalpur: Woman Caught on CCTV Stealing Bajrangbali’s Jewellery

A shocking theft has come to light in Bhagalpur, Bihar, where a woman was captured on CCTV stealing jewellery from a Hanuman temple in broad daylight. The incident occurred on May 19 in the Zeromile area under Navgachiya police station, but the footage surfaced today.
What Was Stolen?
From the Bajrangbali idol, the woman stole:

Silver sacred thread

Other decorative ornaments
How the Theft Happened

The woman entered the temple calmly, as seen in the CCTV.

She removed the ornaments one by one from the idol of Bajrangbali.

After the theft, she put on her slippers, picked up her belongings, and walked away via NH-31 toward Navgachiya Zeromile.
Police Response

The police have launched a search for the woman using the CCTV footage.

Investigators believe the woman may be a repeat offender, given the ease and confidence with which the theft was executed.
Not the First Theft
This is not the first time the temple has been targeted:
