There were 15 people in the Bolero car that met with the accident. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath immediately took cognizance of the road accident in Gonda district. CM Yogi has expressed condolences to the bereaved families of the deceased.

Gonda:

11 people have died in a tragic road accident in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh. A Bolero car going to visit Prithvi Nath temple in Gonda went out of control and fell into a canal. 11 people died on the spot and the condition of three people is said to be critical. The deceased are residents of Sihagaon of Motiganj police station. This road accident happened near Belwa Bahuta Rehra Mod under Itiyathok police station area. Among those who died in the accident, there are 5 women and 6 men. The driver survived.

Amid heavy rains, a Bolero lost control and fell into the Saryu canal in Gonda. 11 people died in this accident, most of whom belonged to the same family. A total of 15 people were travelling in the Bolero. All these people were going to offer water to Prithvinath temple in the month of Sawan. People present at the spot said that the gate of the Bolero was not opening. People inside were pleading for their lives. People were taken out of the car by breaking the glass of the car.

Along with this, he has also wished for the speedy recovery of the injured.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken cognizance of the tragic road accident in Gonda district. He expressed condolences to the bereaved families of the deceased and directed to give compensation of Rs 5 lakh each to the victim families.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said in a post through the social media platform 'X', "The loss of life in the unfortunate accident in Gonda district is extremely sad and heart-wrenching. My condolences are with the bereaved families. I have instructed to provide financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh each to the families of those who died in this accident and to the district administration officials to immediately take the injured to the hospital and provide them proper treatment."
