A chilling murder has emerged from Madanapalle in Andhra Pradesh’s Annamayya district, where a 33-year-old man was savagely killed while his family watched helplessly. The victim, Gangadhar, a real estate agent, was sleeping with his wife and children on Sunday night when six attackers stormed into their home and beat him to death using sticks and stones.

According to Gangadhar's wife Vanita, the attackers struck around 11 PM. She claimed she begged them to spare her husband, but they continued the assault in front of her and their children, eventually killing him on the spot. The sheer brutality of the crime has left the local community stunned.

Police have launched a detailed investigation based on a complaint filed by Gangadhar’s relatives. While initially suspected to be an external attack, investigators are now exploring the possibility of internal involvement. The police have taken Vanita into custody for questioning, suspecting that the murder might not have been possible without help from within the household.

Officials believe that personal enmity or a deeper conspiracy could be behind the attack. Other suspects have also been detained, and the police are working to identify and capture the six men involved in the killing.

Describing the case as one with multiple twists, the Madanapalle Rural Police assured that they are close to solving the mystery. Whether it was a planned murder with internal support or a result of a past conflict, investigators say the truth will be revealed soon.
