Cannes Film Festival Day 1: The 78th International Cannes Film Festival has started in the beautiful city of Cannes, France, on Tuesday.

Trends straight from the runway are seen on the red carpet every time in Cannes, which are worn by famous personalities of international cinema. However, this year you will not find dresses showing a lot of nudity or with long trails covering the entire red carpet at the Cannes red carpet of Cannes.

This year, the organizers made a big change at the last moment and implemented a dress code for the 10-day festival. Due to this new dress code, nudity and extremely grand and large gowns were banned. However, even after this rule, the celebrities made a very stylish entry on the red carpet. Even after this ban, many celebrities were seen in flowing gowns on the first day.

Filmmaker Payal Kapadia, who won an award for her film All We Imagine As Light last year, has been appointed as a jury member of the Cannes Film Festival this year. On the first day, she was seen posing with other jury members like Halle Berry and Jeremy Strong. She wore a blue shirt and a full-length red skirt by Payal Khandwala.

Once again, Urvashi Rautela was seen at the Cannes Film Festival, but everyone's eyes were on the parrot in her hand. She wore a multicolored couture dress designed by Filipino designer Michael Singo. Talking about this parrot, it was a crystal parrot-shaped clutch bag by designer Judith Leiber. Instagram page, Diet Sabya, claims that this clutch is made by Judith Leiber and its price is $5,495 i.e., Rs 4,68,064.10.

Brazilian model Alessandra Ambrosio wore a stunning emerald green strapless gown, which is made of flowy fabric and gives a dramatic flare at the bottom. The fitting of the gown is in bodycon style which highlights her figure beautifully. The front slit is making it even more bold and elegant. Talking about the jewellery, the model is wearing a statement neckpiece complementing the neckline, which adds a royal touch to the look. The makeup is a perfect example of classic and subtle glam, which includes nude tone lips and a perfectly contoured face.
