Top Maoist Basav Raju, who has a bounty of Rs 1 crore on his head, was also killed in this encounter along with 30 Naxalites. It is reported that many other big Maoist leaders are also likely to be killed. Therefore, the number of Maoists killed may increase further.

The encounter is continuing since morning

State Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Vijay Sharma confirmed this major success and said that one soldier was martyred and another soldier was injured in this operation.

The encounter is going on in Abujhmad's Jatlur area. Only initial information about the encounter has come out. Security forces can get a big success in this. According to Narayanpur SP Prabhat Kumar, on receiving information about a big cadre of Maoists' Maad division, DRG Narayanpur, Dantewada, Bijapur and Kondagaon have launched an operation in Abujhmad. The encounter is going on since Wednesday morning. At present, the investigation of the incident is going on.

5 Naxalites killed in Bijapur

A few days before this, 5 Naxalites were killed in an encounter with security forces in the forest of Karregutta in Bijapur district on the Chhattisgarh-Telangana border. The security forces had launched the biggest anti-Naxal operation.

The search operation and encounter are ongoing. Police officials have given this information. Thousands of soldiers from the three states of Telangana, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh are on the operation.
