Jaipur covid cases: Rajasthan's capital Jaipur has once again come under the grip of Corona infection. Sunday once again brought an atmosphere of fear in the state which was calm for a long time, when 20 new Corona positive cases were reported in just 24 hours. The surprising thing is that 18 of these cases are from Jaipur alone. This has made the health department lose sleep and once again an alert has been issued in the state regarding Corona.
Out of 18 cases, 15 were reported from B Lal Lab, the rest from two hospitals
According to the medical report released by the state government, out of the 18 infected people found in Jaipur, 15 cases have been reported from B Lal Lab, 2 from Mahatma Gandhi Hospital and 1 case from SMS Medical College. This makes it clear that the infection has spread somewhere in the city and cases are being confirmed rapidly after testing.
New cases from Dungarpur, Udaipur and Bikaner, patients' condition stable
Apart from Jaipur, a 63-year-old man in Dungarpur, who had recently returned from Gujarat, has tested positive. A 43-year-old woman in Udaipur and a 19-year-old girl in Bikaner have been found corona infected. At present, the condition of all the patients is said to be stable and they have been admitted to different hospitals.
So far there are 98 cases across the state, two have died
Since the beginning of the year 2025, the total number of infected people in the state has reached 98. Out of these, 15 patients are currently undergoing treatment. Reputed hospitals like Saket Hospital, JK Lone, SMS, Jaipur and AIIMS, Jodhpur have been put on alert. So far, 2 infected people have also died, which has increased the concern of the administration.
Administration is alert, hospitals are on high alert, people coming from outside are being monitored
The state government and the health department together have started active monitoring of passengers coming from outside. Thermal screening has been intensified at railway stations and bus stands. At the same time, instructions have been issued to government hospitals in all districts to remain on high alert.
Health department appeals to people to wear masks and not be negligent in testing
The health department has appealed to people to avoid crowds, wear masks in public places and go to the nearest health center and get tested as soon as any symptoms of Covid appear. Corona may be an old crisis, but taking its return lightly can prove to be costly.
