A dangerous criminal history-sheeter with a staggering 24 cases at just 23 years of age—Qadir, son of Khurshid from Nahal village, Ghaziabad—was shot and arrested in a police encounter following the murder of Noida Police constable Saurabh Deshwal.
The Crime and the Escape
On Sunday night, a Noida police team raided Qadir’s home based on a tip. Though he was initially caught, his accomplices ambushed the police team, firing and throwing stones. In the chaos, Qadir escaped, and constable Saurabh Deshwal was shot in the head—he later succumbed to his injuries.

The Encounter
