Gas Cylinder: Good news! You can get a gas cylinder ₹300 Cheaper. Find out where and how to get it

The ongoing conflict in the Gulf countries is impacting the world. This conflict has led to a gas cylinder shortage in India. The shortage has caused widespread concern among citizens. The government repeatedly claims that the situation is returning to normal. Due to the shortage, LPG cylinder prices have been increased. Despite this, a certain segment of society is receiving gas cylinders for ₹300 cheaper, even though the government itself is providing them with cheaper cylinders.

Beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana receive a subsidy of ₹300. This means they receive a gas cylinder ₹300 cheaper than the rate available to ordinary consumers. These beneficiaries are being provided with gas cylinder connections without any security deposit or installation fee. All beneficiaries receive a 14.2 kg/5 kg LPG cylinder, a pressure regulator, a 1.2 meter safety pipe, a DGCC booklet, a free first refill, and a free two-burner stove.

You can also take advantage of this scheme by registering online. Customers can apply online through the application available on the website https://pmuy.gov.in or visit their nearest CSC center for assistance in submitting the application. There is no fee for submitting the application in person. A fee of ₹20 will be charged for submitting the application through a CSC center. Customers can also submit the application offline directly to their nearest OMC LPG distributor.
